Gratitude

Gratitude is the memory of the heart.

Swift gratitude is the sweetest.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.

Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Joy is the simplest form of gratitude.

The more you recognize and express gratitude for the things you have, the more things you will have to express gratitude for.

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.

Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues but the parent of all others.

In relation to others, gratitude is good manners; in relation to ourselves, it is a habit of the heart and a spiritual discipline.

Develop an 'attitude of gratitude.' Say thank you to everyone you meet for everything they do for you.

Two kinds of gratitude: The sudden kind we feel for what we take; the larger kind we feel for what we give.

Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.

Gratitude creates the most wonderful feeling. It can resolve disputes. It can strengthen friendships. And it makes us better men and women.

Feelings of gratitude release positive endorphins throughout the body, creating health.

The expression of gratitude is a powerful force that generates even more of what we have already received.

Gratitude is not only the greatest of all the virtues, but the parent of all the others.

Every sunrise is a message from God, and every sunset is His signature, Thank Him at least once a day, for he is good!

Every morning is a fresh opportunity to find God's extraordinary love in the most oridnary places. Don't forget to thank god for another waking moment, for another day to live!

Don't simply thank God that you have much while others have little. Thank Him because He has chosen to bless you and in return be a blessing to someone else.

It's not good to say 'thank you' and not mean it, but it's even worse to mean it and not say it.

Let us be thankful for the fools. But for them the rest of us could not succeed.

Each day is an offering of love, a gift only God can deliver, and the way we use each shining hour is our gift of thanks to the Giver.
