Hope

Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul.

He who has health has hope, and he who has hope has everything.

Hope makes today possible and tomorrow attractive, or at least less threatening. Hope makes death bearable...hope is the mainstay of our energy. We go forward - because we hope.

Hope is the nurse of misery.

Never deprive someone of hope; it might be all they have.

There are no hopeless situations - only people who are hopeless about them.

I've seen what a good laugh can do. It can transform tears into hope.

If you're feeling low, don't despair. The sun has a sinking spell every night, but it comes back up every morning.

If it were not for hope, the heart would break.

God never comes too early and He never comes too late. Be patient and just wait. No matter what, never grow discouraged.

Dreams visit us when we are asleep but God is truly wise because He lets us get up each day and give us every chance to make our dreams come true.

Don't give in to despair! Remind yourself of God's goodness and love. Talk to Him, He will meet your needs. He'll lead you in paths of love and light and joy where you will find new hope.

Each new sunrise marks the beginning of another day of fresh blessings from the Lord. Watch for His tokens of love. They are new every morning.

In the kingdom of hope there is no winter.

The hopes of the world rest on the flexibility, vigor, capacity for new thought, and the fresh outlook of the young.

My hopes are not always realized, but I always hope.

When you say a situation or a person is hopeless, you are slamming the door in the face of God.

Live in your hopes and not in your fears.

Hope can always cope.

The pillar of the world is hope.

Hope is itself a species of happiness, and, perhaps, the chief happiness which this world affords.

Hope is an echo, hope ties itself yonder, yonder.

Hope smiles on the threshold of the year to come, whispering that it will be happier.

Hope is the feeling you have that the feeling you have isn't permanent.

He who lives by hope will die by hunger.

Hope is the poor man's bread.
