It is important to have a properly balanced light on the subject in order to get as much detail as possible. A proper exposure can be acquired through a proper balance between three basic variables within the camera, the sensor's ISO, aperture opening, and shutter speed.
We will explore four common methods of how the camera can obtain proper exposure, using the Automatic mode, Aperture Priority mode, Shutter Priority mode, and using Manual mode. Understanding how the camera operates on these different modes and learning their advantages and disadvantages can be useful in deciding what mode to use on specific occasions. This will also give us an idea on how to overcome the camera's limitations and to create practical workarounds.
